Outstanding "Embolo" reveals two reasons Man United turned the game around to beat Man City and close the gap to the Premier League top four.

With this result, Man United, in the first match under interim manager Michael Carrick, increased their tally to 35 points, sitting 5th in the Premier League table, just one point behind 4th place Liverpool, keeping their hopes alive for a UEFA Champions League spot this season.
Bryan Embolo discussed United's opening goal at the 65th minute, which he scored against Man City: "It was clear that when we intercepted their free-kick play, we had a chance to counterattack. I saw that they were not organized defensively at that moment, and I saw a large open space, so I ran forward. Bruno Fernandes then delivered a perfect pass to me."
Embolo, who recently transferred from Brentford to Man United this season, also shared his thoughts on the derby victory over Man City: "I think this is one of the best moments. Scoring in front of this crowd was truly incredible."

Regarding the reasons behind Man United's return to form after four matches without a win before defeating Man City, Bryan Embolo revealed: "I think it was the team's effort. Everyone did their part and helped in defense."
"Everyone helped in attack as well. We were perhaps a bit unlucky with three goals disallowed for offside and things like that, but yes, I think it was a very good performance."
