On 22 Jan 2026 GMT+7, Jamie Carragher, former star player turned football pundit, spoke about Dutch coach Arne Slot, who continues to receive heavy criticism even though Liverpool has gone 13 games unbeaten.
Carragher said, "Honestly, I think some of the criticism Arne Slot has received from fans is excessive. It's too much. This is the man who led the team to the Premier League title six months ago. I sympathize with him; he is calm and composed. He's been that way since last year and still is this year. I believe he deserves more respect from Liverpool fans, especially considering what he has achieved in his first season."
