Is there interest or not? Major media reveal the latest stance of "Manchester United" after "Wilfred Ndidi," former "Leicester City" player, showed interest in joining on a loan deal.
On 23 Jan 2026 GMT+7, major media reported the latest stance of the "Red Devils," Manchester United, a prominent Premier League club, under interim English coach Michael Carrick, following Wilfred Ndidi, former "Foxes" Leicester City player, showing interest in joining on a loan basis.
Simon Jones, a well-known football reporter from the Daily Mail, stated that the Manchester red giants have neither accepted nor rejected the proposal after being contacted by Wilfred Ndidi's agent about a potential loan move. Several other Premier League clubs have also been contacted by the agent.
The deal is believed to have a chance since it is only a loan, not a permanent transfer. Interim coach Michael Carrick may have a role and authority in deciding to strengthen the midfield squad, aiming to improve the team’s chances of qualifying for the UEFA Champions League next season.
