The "Red Devils," Manchester United, have reportedly placed the name of a top Premier League winger on their list of transfer targets.
TEAMtalk, a well-known football media outlet, reported that Manchester United, the Premier League giant, is considering signing Iliman Ndiaye, the skillful winger and Senegal international from Everton, to join Old Trafford this summer.
It is understood that Manchester United is focusing on recruiting players currently playing in the Premier League to ensure immediate impact without a long adaptation period. They recently succeeded with signing Matheus Cunha from Wolverhampton and Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford, both of whom have performed excellently and become key players for the team.
The latest reports indicate that Manchester United will continue pursuing this strategy by targeting 25-year-old Everton winger Iliman Ndiaye, whom the club’s management views as having the potential to perform as well as Cunha and Mbeumo.
However, this deal will not be easy for Manchester United since Everton's asking price for Ndiaye is expected to be higher than the £75 million they paid when signing Romelu Lukaku.
Ndiaye is a highly skilled dribbler with a strong physique suited for the Premier League and is very creative. His dribbling ability is comparable to any winger in the league. Although he has scored only 4 goals, he actively participates in Everton's attacking play and poses significant problems for opposing defenses.
