Liverpool Set to Sign Former Premier League Winger to Strengthen Attack

"The Reds" Liverpool are reportedly preparing to sign a former Premier League winger to reinforce their flanks this summer.

"The Reds" Liverpool, a Premier League giant, are considering signing Christian Pulisic, the American international attacker from AC Milan, to Anfield this summer.

It is believed that manager Jürgen Klopp wants to improve the team's wing positions, and Pulisic is among the candidates under consideration. According to Italian journalist Nicolo Schira, Liverpool are monitoring Pulisic's situation due to uncertainty surrounding his contract renewal in Italy.

Pulisic, 27, has a contract with AC Milan until 2027, with an option to extend through 2028. Although he is satisfied with his situation at San Siro and hopes for a new deal, official contract negotiations have yet to take place.

Pulisic has performed excellently, scoring 10 goals and providing 2 assists in 20 appearances across all competitions, underlining his value in Milan's attack.

Meanwhile, Liverpool want to add options in attack after Luis Díaz's move to Bayern Munich. Along with inconsistent form from Cody Gakpo and Mohamed Salah, internal discussions have arisen about adding reliable wide players who can deliver immediate results.

Pulisic's versatility, performing well on both left and right wings as well as an attacking midfielder, makes him attractive. His Premier League experience with Chelsea could also ease adaptation risks.

Although Liverpool have been linked with promising young talent Yan Diomande from RB Leipzig, Pulisic would be a more experienced and ready-to-play option.
