Manchester United has issued a warning to Barcelona following signs that the Spanish club may not comply with one condition in the deal involving English forward Marcus Rashford.
On 18 Feb 2026 GMT+7, the "Red Devils" Manchester United, a prominent Premier League club led by interim English manager Michael Carrick, warned La Liga giants Barcelona after indications emerged that Barcelona might not honor one condition in the loan deal for English attacker Marcus Rashford, whose loan contract is due to expire at the end of this season.
Recently, the Catalan giants reportedly sought to negotiate down the transfer fee for Marcus Rashford, which Manchester United had set at £26 million (approximately 1.101 billion baht), despite Rashford's impressive form, having scored 10 goals and provided 13 assists in 34 appearances across all competitions.
Most recently, the Old Trafford club has taken a firm stance, stating they will not engage in any negotiations or discussions with Barcelona if the Spanish side seeks to reduce the agreed transfer fee, insisting that payment must be made according to the previously agreed amount.
