Liverpool Set to Break Club Record with £174 Million Bid for Top Attacker

The "Reds" Liverpool are reportedly ready to spend a club-record fee to sign this top attacking player.

Spanish media outlet Fichajes reported that Premier League giants Liverpool are preparing a £174 million bid to acquire French international winger Michael Olise from Bayern Munich this summer, contingent on Mohamed Salah leaving the club.

Back in December last year, after Liverpool's 3-3 draw with Leeds United, Salah criticized Liverpool after being scapegoated for the team's poor form at that time. His relationship with manager Jürgen Klopp appeared strained, leading to Salah being omitted from the squad for the match against Inter Milan.

However, the parties eventually resolved their differences, and Salah returned to the team. Yet, transfer rumors surrounding Salah have persisted and may materialize this summer, with Saudi Arabian club Al-Ittihad showing interest. Liverpool is meanwhile seeking a suitable replacement should Salah depart.

Recent reports from Spanish media confirm that Liverpool will make every effort to sign Bayern Munich winger Michael Olise, who has scored 13 goals and provided 20 assists in 33 appearances across all competitions for Bayern. They see Olise as the most suitable successor.

Liverpool understands that this deal will not be straightforward, as Bayern are reluctant to release one of their key players. Their strategy includes two approaches: first, convincing Olise that the sporting project at Anfield is the right step for his career; second, preparing an irresistible offer that Bayern would find hard to refuse.

Liverpool is ready to invest a massive £174 million, an English transfer record, to secure Olise, a bid that would compel Bayern to enter serious negotiations.
