On 2 March 2026 GMT+7, Opta, football statistics experts, revealed the latest predictions by their supercomputer on which team has the highest chance of winning the 2025-26 English Premier League after this week’s matches.
1. Arsenal – 64 points
2. Manchester City – 59 points
3. Manchester United – 51 points (goal difference +12)
4. Aston Villa – 51 points (+8)
5. Liverpool – 48 points
6. Chelsea – 45 points
The Opta supercomputer predicts Arsenal remains the clear favorite to win the Premier League, with their chances increasing after a narrow 2-1 victory over Chelsea in the London derby.
Meanwhile, Manchester City remains second favorite after a 1-0 away win against Leeds United, keeping a 5-point gap behind Arsenal, despite a slight drop in their title-winning percentage.
Aston Villa, the third favorite, saw their chances plummet below 0.10% after a 0-2 loss to bottom-placed Wolverhampton. Meanwhile, Manchester United climbed to fourth favorite after going unbeaten in 7 matches under interim coach Michael Carrick (6 wins, 1 draw), pushing Liverpool down to fifth. Chelsea has dropped out of the top five favorites, with their title chances now at 0.00%.
