Wolverhampton recently beat Liverpool 2-1 in the English Premier League on Tuesday night but will face them again in England's oldest football competition tonight. Edwards hopes to make Liverpool suffer once more.
"Liverpool want to win and prove they are better after Tuesday night, but we have to try to make them hurt again."
"We have our standards. What we won't compromise on is chasing the ball, hard work, and one-on-one duels. We can't always promise to play well when in possession; mistakes may happen. But what we can control is intensity in running and effort. That's why we've competed better in the last 15 games."
"Facing Liverpool on Friday will be our most important game of the season, just like Tuesday's game was. Each match has its own challenges at different times, so it's really difficult to choose the lineup to secure victory in football matches," Edwards said.
