Wes Brown criticized one Manchester United player despite their victory over Aston Villa.
Wes Brown, the legendary defender of the "Red Devils" Manchester United, criticized Benjamin Sesko, saying he could have done better in the match where Manchester United defeated Aston Villa 3-1 in the English Premier League last night.
Sesko continued to show excellent form after coming on as a substitute and scoring one goal, helping Manchester United beat Aston Villa 3-1. However, Wes Brown felt Sesko could have done better, having several golden opportunities, especially late in the game around the 85th minute. It appeared the 22-year-old hesitated between shooting or passing to Amad Diallo waiting at the far post, and ultimately the ball went past the goal without a chance. Brown also commented on Bruno Fernandes' performance, who provided two assists in this match.
"Those were two outstanding goals resulting from the magic of Bruno Fernandes — his vision and ball speed were excellent."
"The first goal came from a corner where he and Casemiro combined again, but the pass to Cunha was timed perfectly as he waited for Embolo to run off first, then released the ball for Cunha to run onto it. It was truly beautiful."
"As for Sesko, he did score, but I think he could have done better because he had several chances."
"Manchester United stepped up in the second half; they played better, and Aston Villa couldn’t cope. United were too quick and decisive for them."
Sesko’s latest goal marked his 9th in England’s top league this season and his 8th goal in his last 10 appearances for the club.
