A former Liverpool player made it clear that if Liverpool play as they did in last night's loss to Brighton, they could be beaten 10-0 by PSG in the UEFA Champions League.
Stephen Warnock, former left-back of the Liverpool Reds, warned that Liverpool could be thrashed 10-0 by Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals if they perform as poorly as they did in their 1-2 away loss to Brighton in the English Premier League last Saturday.
Danny Welbeck's two goals helped Brighton defeat Liverpool, managed by Jürgen Klopp, marking Liverpool's 10th loss in this Premier League season. Liverpool has earned just one point from their last three matches and currently sits 6th in the table.
Warnock said, "If they play like that in Paris, they could lose 10-0. Liverpool played very poorly today. Brighton was not sharp but kept pressing forward. However, Paris Saint-Germain will be extremely sharp. This is very worrying for Liverpool."
For the UEFA Champions League quarter-final first leg, Liverpool will travel to Paris Saint-Germain on 9 Apr before returning to play the second leg at Anfield on 15 Apr.
