The "Red Devils" Manchester United have been reported to have decided on Marcus Rashford's future.
ESPN, a global sports media outlet, reported that Manchester United, the Premier League giant, is not worried at all about Marcus Rashford's situation at Barcelona and is confident they can find another club to buy him if the La Liga giants decide not to exercise the purchase option.
Barcelona borrowed Rashford until the end of this season, with an option to buy him outright for £25.9 million. However, United is aware of rumors in Spain that Barcelona may want to renegotiate terms, including paying a lower transfer fee or postponing payment until the loan contract ends again.
Nevertheless, Manchester United's management confirmed that there will be no negotiations or compromises and that they are willing to recall Rashford to the club in the summer if Barcelona does not buy him. United believes Rashford's performance in Spain has significantly increased his value, allowing them to negotiate a higher fee with other clubs.
The 28-year-old Rashford has scored 10 goals in 39 appearances for Barcelona this season and is also in contention to be selected for England's squad for the 2026 World Cup.
Sources told ESPN that several clubs in England and Europe have inquired about the possibility of signing Rashford amid uncertainty about his future. Rashford still has two years remaining on his contract with Manchester United.
If Rashford returns in the summer, it is likely he will be allowed to rejoin training with United's first team while awaiting a new club, since Rúben Amorim is no longer with the club and has been replaced by Michael Carrick, who has previously worked with Rashford.
