Determined to become legends! Caziedo and Enzo Fernandez, two Chelsea players, express sharply different views amid rumors linking them to Real Madrid.
On 26 Mar 2026 GMT+7, Moisés Caziedo, the key midfielder, firmly denied interest in the Real Madrid rumors, declaring his focus is on delivering strong performances and staying long enough to become a Chelsea "legend."
Caziedo told El Chiringuito TV, "Right now, my focus is on the club. I have a contract here, and I want to perform well. I want to become a legend, if God wills it."
While Caziedo clearly expressed his intention to stay, his midfield partner Enzo Fernandez gave a more cautious interview, saying he is currently focused on the club but will consider his future after the World Cup, leaving the Real Madrid transfer rumors unresolved.
Amid outside criticism, Chelsea head coach Liam Rosier remains confident that his key players are happy and committed. He emphasized the strong bonds he has built with the squad, which underpins his optimism about retaining the players.
"I have a very good relationship with the players because we talk all the time," he explained. "Not just about football or contracts, but about life, their children’s well-being, or school matters. I am close with Enzo and the others."
"Regarding contracts or where they want to be, since I arrived, no player has said they don’t want to be here this summer. In fact, most conversations are about how we can improve, what we can do as a team to develop, and how to win now. That’s what we are focused on currently."
