Two leading agencies disagree on the latest Premier League title favorites after matchday 33.
On 20 April 2026 GMT+7, Opta, the football statistics expert, revealed its latest prediction from a supercomputer on which team is most likely to win the 2025-26 English Premier League season after this week's matches, in which Manchester City defeated Arsenal 2-1 at home.
1. Arsenal (33 matches) 70 points
2. Manchester City (32 matches) 67 points
Opta's supercomputer predicts that Arsenal remains the favorite to win the Premier League despite losing to Manchester City and being chased down to a 3-point lead while having played one more match.
Meanwhile, Manchester City is second favorite, closing the gap with more than a 13 percent chance after thrashing Chelsea 3-0 away, reducing the deficit to Arsenal to just 6 points with one game in hand.
Favorite 1: Arsenal 73.04% (previously 86.98%)
Favorite 2: Manchester City 26.96% (previously 13.02%)
However, Sky Bet, a well-known legal bookmaker, issued the latest odds for the 2025-26 Premier League champion, showing Manchester City as the new favorite over Arsenal after the chance to overtake the top spot if they beat Burnley in the midweek rescheduled match.
Favorite 1: Manchester City - Odds 8/13 (bet 13 to win 8, excluding stake)
Favorite 2: Arsenal - Odds 6/5
