Jeremy Frimpong has issued a warning to Liverpool ahead of their home game against Crystal Palace, highlighting the necessity of winning to keep their hopes alive for a UEFA Champions League spot next season.
On 24 Apr 2026 GMT+7, Jeremy Frimpong, the Dutch right-back, warned the Liverpool players, the Premier League giants led by Dutch manager Arne Slot, ahead of their match against Crystal Palace, who must win to maintain their chances for a UEFA Champions League spot next season.
Looking back at the last three meetings, Liverpool have struggled, losing all three encounters against Crystal Palace in this same season. It began with the Community Shield match ending 2-2 but Liverpool lost on penalties 2-3. Then in the Premier League, they lost 1-2 away, followed by a 0-3 home defeat in the Carabao Cup.
Recently, Jeremy Frimpong said, "Crystal Palace have beaten us three times this season across all competitions. Losing three consecutive times to the same opponent is not good at all. This makes the upcoming game very important for us. We have to show how good we are. Of course, we want to beat them. We are looking forward to this match. It's extremely important. We still have five matches left, and we want to win them all. I am confident we can do it. We aim to finish the season as best as possible, and we will give our all."
