Pep Guardiolas Sharp Remarks as Man City Closes Gap to Arsenal by 2 Points in Premier League

Pep Guardiola, Manchester City's manager, opened up after his team crushed Brentford, closing the gap to Premier League leaders Arsenal to just 2 points.

Following Manchester City's 3-0 home win over Brentford in the Premier League last night, the "Sky Blues" collected 74 points, closing in on top club "The Gunners" Arsenal, who also have 35 matches played, now just 2 points ahead.

Recently, Pep spoke about the title race, saying, "We are battling against a team that reached the Champions League final unbeaten and has held the top spot for nearly the entire season."

"Right now, it’s no longer in our hands; it depends on whether they drop points. I like this. I like being back here [in the title race] again."

After beating Brentford, City still must play against Crystal Palace, Bournemouth, and Aston Villa, while Arsenal faces West Ham, Burnley, and Palace.

"What we can do is win again on Wednesday [against Palace], then play the FA Cup final against Chelsea, followed by away matches at Bournemouth and then Aston Villa. So the schedule is quite tough."

"Only two weeks remain before the season ends."

After the interview, Pep crossed his arms and shouted, "Come On You Irons!" referring to West Ham, which made the journalists laugh as West Ham is set to face Arsenal tonight.
