
Revealed: 16 match times for the 2026 World Cup, with most games kicking off at 2:00 AM.
The 2026 World Cup will be co-hosted by the United States, Mexico, and Canada from 11 June to 19 July. However, Thai football fans will have to stay up late, as broadcast times start as early as 11:00 PM and extend until 11:00 AM.
The World Cup broadcasts will cover 16 different time slots: 23:00, 00:00, 02:00, 03:00, 03:30, 04:00, 05:00, 06:00, 06:30, 07:00, 07:30, 08:00, 08:30, 09:00, 10:00, and 11:00.
The opening match will be Group A’s Mexico versus South Africa, taking place on the night of 11 June or early morning 12 June at 2:00 AM.
The semi-finals and the final will all be played at 2:00 AM. The final match is scheduled for the night of 19 July (early morning 20 July) at 2:00 AM.
Due to these broadcast times, some private companies may hesitate to invest, as the matches do not fall within the prime time slot of 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
