On 20 May 2026 GMT+7, LABANOON's official Facebook page, the well-known Thai band, congratulated "The Gunners" Arsenal on winning the 2025-26 English Premier League, ending a 22-year wait since their last title in 2004.
Labanoon's post said, "It's not 'Yam' guarding the trophy now. Congratulations to Arsenal for this season's championship. #arsenal #champions #PremierLeague".
Labanoon's song 'Yam' had been used by many football fans to tease Arsenal supporters about watching the trophy, as the Gunners appeared poised to win the title but ultimately did not, finishing as Premier League runners-up for three consecutive seasons. They finally broke through in the 2025-26 season. This is Mikel Arteta's second trophy with Arsenal, following the 2019-20 FA Cup victory.
Arsenal also remain contenders for the UEFA Champions League, set to face Paris Saint-Germain in the final on 30 May at 23:00 GMT+7.
