Arteta Speaks Out Candidly as Arsenal Eyes Two Trophies, Books Championship Parade Date

"Arteta" delivers sharp remarks as Arsenal vies for two trophies and has booked the date for the championship parade.

On 21 May 2026, Mikel Arteta, Arsenal's manager, spoke at a press conference ahead of the final 2025-26 Premier League match, an away game against Crystal Palace scheduled for Sunday, 24 May.

Arsenal has officially secured the 2025-26 Premier League title, ending a 22-year wait since Arsène Wenger’s unbeaten season in 2003-04. The team will formally lift the trophy on the podium after the match against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

The "Gunners" still have a chance to complete a double by winning the season’s final trophy: the UEFA Champions League final against reigning champions Paris Saint-Germain, Ligue 1 champions of France, on Saturday, 30 May.

Arsenal will then return to England early on Sunday morning, 31 May, to participate in a championship parade around London, beginning at 2:00 p.m. local time (8:00 p.m. Thai time).

If Arsenal defeats PSG, they will celebrate both the Premier League and UEFA Champions League titles simultaneously, marking the most monumental day in the club’s 139-year history.

Asked about the parade planned for 31 May following the UCL final, Mikel Arteta answered directly, “We want a parade with two championship trophies.”
