Thai national footballer Teerasil Dangda speaks candidly about Arsenal after their Premier League title win (video).
On 25 May 2026, Teerasil Dangda, striker for the Thai national team and True Bangkok United in the Thai League 1, opened up via the club's official page following the tremendous success of his beloved Arsenal, who won the English Premier League 2025-26 season.
Arsenal ended a 22-year wait to claim the Premier League title since their unbeaten championship in the 2003-04 season, which was around the time Teerasil first started supporting the "Gunners." After many years without major success, the club finally realized their dream this season.
Speaking about Arsenal's Premier League win and their upcoming 2025-26 UEFA Champions League final against defending champions Paris Saint-Germain on Saturday, 30 May, Teerasil said, "I'm very happy, really happy... to have the championship."
"I've been supporting them for over 20 years, maybe 23-24 years since the unbeaten season. I've quietly supported them for more than 20 years (laughs). Hopefully, no one finds out I'm a fan."
"(Regarding the team's MVP) Actually, there are many candidates, but if I had to pick, Declan Rice played a very significant role this season. But honestly, every position counts, from Victor Jekeres who contributed a lot after joining, filling a missing puzzle piece, to the defenders and the goalkeeper—everyone is crucial."
"(How do you feel about the recent ups and downs?) I don't really feel anything special. Honestly, I'm quite indifferent. Supporting Arsenal, you learn to understand their recent form. In the past three years, we've been contenders for the title, whereas before we only aimed for Champions League qualification. We just hope the team we support can succeed."
"(What do you think about the remaining trophy against PSG?) It's Arsenal, of course. I want Arsenal to win because I watched the final last time (2005-06 season when they lost 1-2 to Barcelona). I want Arsenal to achieve European success."
