"Juventus" plans to outpace "Spurs" in signing "Robertson" from Liverpool.
Fabrizio Romano, the renowned reporter, reported that Juventus, the Italian Serie A giant, is trying to sign Liverpool left-back Andy Robertson, despite rumors that Tottenham Hotspur is the favorite to secure the player.
Robertson has announced he will leave the Reds at the end of this season when his contract expires in June, ending a nine-year stint. He is likely to move to Tottenham Hotspur after they avoided relegation and remain in the Premier League.
Romano posted on X that "Tottenham Hotspur have been negotiating with Andy Robertson on a free transfer for several weeks and are close to reaching an agreement. Juventus has also entered the race and is trying to sign the player with an offer as well. Now, the decision rests with Robertson."
Robertson moved from Hull City to Liverpool in 2017, playing 378 matches in all competitions, scoring 14 goals and providing 69 assists.
