Premier League Manager of the Season 2025-26 Announced

The Premier League Manager of the Season award for 2025-26 has been officially announced.

Mikel Arteta, manager of the "Gunners" Arsenal, won the Premier League Manager of the Season award for 2025-26 after leading his club to their first top-flight league title in England in 22 years. Arsenal last won the league in the 2003/04 season as the unbeaten champions under Arsène Wenger.

After finishing second for three consecutive seasons, Arteta and his team finally achieved their goal. Arsenal's success was built on a solid foundation; they kept 19 clean sheets out of 38 matches and conceded only 27 goals, the fewest in the league this season.

Meanwhile, in attack, they scored the second-highest number of goals in the league, behind only Manchester City, with 77 goals.

Arteta is the first manager to win the Premier League with a club he previously played for, having been a player at Arsenal from 2011 to 2016.

At 44 years and 54 days old, Arteta is the third youngest manager to win the Premier League, behind José Mourinho who won it with Chelsea at 42 years 94 days in 2004/05 and 43 years 93 days in 2005/06.

Arteta won the Premier League Manager of the Season award with more votes than Keith Andrews of Brentford, Michael Carrick of Manchester United, Pep Guardiola of Manchester City, Andoni Iraola of Bournemouth, and Regis Le Bris of Sunderland.

Arteta and Arsenal are aiming to end the season by winning the UEFA Champions League as well. They will face defending champions Paris Saint-Germain in the final this Saturday in Budapest, and if successful, they will claim the title for the first time.
