Kvaratskhelia, the PSG winger, delivered bold remarks ahead of facing Arsenal in the UEFA Champions League final.
Kvaratskhelia, the Georgian international winger for Paris Saint-Germain, expressed confidence that his club would beat the "Gunners" Arsenal to win the 2025-26 UEFA Champions League this Saturday.
Before the crucial game in Budapest, Kvaratskhelia told the club's media that the French champions' success comes from team unity and insisted that coach Luis Enrique's side can beat anyone if they play their own style of football.
“I think that is one of the team's greatest strengths. We enjoy playing together and are very close, and we know that if we fight for each other and play our style of football, we can beat anyone.”
He also discussed his own development as a player, acknowledging that he has grown from focusing on individual performance to prioritizing the team above all else.
“When I first started playing, I thought I was more of a solo player than a team player, but I quickly realized you have nothing without the team.”
“Few players can lead a team to victory alone. I know that when you have a good team where everyone gives their all, the results will follow.”
Regarding the challenges of facing Arsenal, Kvaratskhelia said, “It’s very tough, as we have already seen. We have had several games where we had to fight to the very end, and we have beaten many strong teams.”
“But we have a lot of quality. We have players who can do everything, so I think we just have to believe in ourselves and give everything to win this trophy.”
