
One surprise player announced in the UEFA Champions League 2025-26 Team of the Season, with three Arsenal players included and the MVP award revealed.
On 1 June 2026 GMT+7, the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) announced the 11 players selected for the UEFA Champions League 2025-26 Team of the Season following the final where defending champions Paris Saint-Germain won 4-3 on penalties against Arsenal after a 1-1 draw over 120 minutes.
This victory allowed PSG to successfully defend their title, becoming the first French team to win the UCL twice and achieve back-to-back championships, while Arsenal must continue waiting for their first Champions League title after missing out for the second time, the previous occasion being 20 years ago.
PSG had the highest number of players selected for the UEFA Champions League 2025-26 Team of the Season with five, Arsenal had three, Bayern Munich, who lost to Paris in the semifinals, had two, and Atletico Madrid, defeated by Arsenal in the semifinals, surprisingly had one player selected.
