Manchester United Eyes Signing Premier League Star with High Transfer Fee

Manchester United has been reported to be highly interested in signing a prominent Premier League player and has already been informed of the transfer fee.

The Guardian, a leading English media outlet, reported that the "Red Devils," Manchester United, a renowned Premier League club, remain confident of securing Elliott Anderson, the English international midfielder from Nottingham Forest, after learning that Forest rejected an initial offer from Manchester City.

Manchester United is among the clubs seriously interested in Anderson, with Manchester City as a key competitor. However, Manchester City's previous offer was immediately rejected, leaving United's chances still open.

Recent reports state that Nottingham Forest has set Elliott Anderson's final price at £115 million. If the transfer goes through, Anderson would become the most expensive English player, surpassing Arsenal's purchase of Declan Rice from West Ham for £105 million.

Evangelos Marinakis, owner of Nottingham Forest, has shown no rush to sell Anderson. The club's stance is clear: Anderson is valued as stated, and anyone who disagrees can look elsewhere.

Meanwhile, Nottingham Forest manager Vitor Pereira expressed a position consistent with the owner’s, stating they will not be pressured into selling regardless of any major clubs’ interest.
