Clear Decision: Barcelona Has Decided Whether to Buy Marcus Rashford Permanently as Option Expires in 5 Days

It is clear that Barcelona, the top Spanish club, has decided whether to make the permanent transfer of Marcus Rashford after the option negotiated with Manchester United will expire in 5 days.

On 10 June 2026, it became clear that Barcelona, the renowned La Liga club led by German coach Hansi Flick, has decided not to buy Marcus Rashford permanently. Rashford is currently on loan from Manchester United, a leading Premier League club, according to Fabrizio Romano, the world’s leading football transfer journalist.

Last summer, Marcus Rashford moved on loan from Manchester United to Barcelona for one season, with an option to buy for 30 million euros (about 1.14 billion baht). Rashford performed excellently, scoring 14 goals and providing 14 assists in 49 matches across all competitions.

Barcelona remains open to renegotiating with the Manchester club, possibly arranging another loan season with conditional buy options or negotiating a lower transfer fee.
