On 15 June 2026, renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano reported that Ruben Amorim, former Manchester United manager, has secured a new team after being dismissed from his position by the Premier League club in January.
Romano stated, "Here We Go! AC Milan has reached an agreement to appoint Ruben Amorim as their new head coach. A verbal agreement was made for a contract lasting until June 2028, with an option to extend through June 2029."
"Amorim has accepted all terms. The Portuguese coach will return to management after leaving Manchester United in January and will start a new chapter in Serie A soon. Amorim is back."
Meanwhile, Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio revealed that Ruben Amorim will earn a yearly salary of 3.5 million euros (132 million baht) from AC Milan.
