Man Utd shocks by cancelling deal for "target player".
It's over! "Man Utd" cancels "Ederson" deal due to failed medical examination.
Fabrizio Romano, a trusted football transfer journalist, reported that "the Red Devils," Manchester United, the Premier League giant, have decided to cancel their agreement to sign Ederson, the Brazilian international midfielder, due to issues found in his medical check.
Previously, Manchester United had agreed a 45 million euro deal for Ederson, but questions arose as to why the club had not made an official announcement despite a considerable amount of time passing. The reason was confirmed to be Ederson's failure to meet the club's medical standards, leading to the club notifying Atalanta to terminate the agreement.
Romano updated, "Ederson's transfer to Manchester United has been halted and cancelled. Manchester United has informed Atalanta about this matter."
"Atalanta believes Ederson is 100% fit and will gladly welcome the midfielder back to the team, while Manchester United has changed their plans."
Additionally, reports indicate that Manchester United is now targeting Manu Koné, the French midfielder from Roma, instead.
