Emery talks about Garnacho after his Aston Villa debut.
Following the announcement that "The Villans" Aston Villa, a strong Premier League club, have secured Argentine winger Alejandro Garnacho from "The Blues" Chelsea, the player joins Villa Park on a season-long loan for 2026/27, with an option to buy next summer.
Unai Emery, Aston Villa's manager, said of Garnacho, "We are very pleased to have Alejandro Garnacho join our team. He is a highly talented young player who has shown great commitment to contributing to our project. We are truly happy."
Garnacho, 22, developed through Manchester United's academy and made 144 appearances for the Red Devils before transferring to Chelsea in the summer of 2025.
Garnacho can play on both the left and right wings, scoring 8 goals in 43 appearances for Chelsea last season.
He has earned 8 caps for Argentina and won the FIFA Puskás Award in 2024 for a stunning volley in Manchester United's 3-0 win over Everton.
