4 Big Names Among Top 6 Favorites to Be First Premier League Manager Sacked in 2026-27 Season

Four prominent names are included in the list revealing the six favorites to be the first Premier League manager sacked in the 2026-27 season.

On 28 July 2026 GMT+7, Sky Bet, a well-known legal betting company in England, released the latest odds on which manager will be the first to be dismissed in the Premier League 2026-27 season ahead of the new campaign kickoff.

It turns out that Frank Lampard is the 9/2 favorite to be the first Premier League manager sacked in 2026-27, despite leading Coventry City to promotion back to the top flight for the first time in 25 years by winning the Championship title.

Interestingly, four big-name managers are among the top six candidates expected to be sacked in the new season, led by Oliver Glasner, who has just been announced as Nottingham Forest's manager. Glasner has a history of frequent managerial changes after ending his contract with Crystal Palace.

Also included are Roberto De Zerbi, who is likely to face high expectations after Tottenham heavily invested in new signings like Sandro Tonali, Mateus Fernandes, and Jan Paul van Hecke, as well as Eddie Howe at Newcastle United and Michael Carrick at Manchester United.

The six favorites to be the first Premier League manager sacked in 2026-27:
