Following Fabrizio Romano's announcement with the iconic phrase HERE WE GO!!!, England midfielder Jordan Henderson has agreed to join Chelsea after mutually parting ways with Brentford.
Recently, Henderson expressed thanks and bid farewell to Brentford, stating, “I leave Brentford with immense gratitude for the opportunity the club gave me and for the support and care my family and I received from day one.”

Henderson, 36, joined Brentford on a free transfer from Ajax in July 2025 and made 34 appearances in all competitions during the 2025/26 season.
He was named Brentford's Player of the Month for September after starting all three Premier League matches and providing assists against Chelsea and Manchester United.
His first and only goal for the club came in December last year in a 1-1 draw against Leeds United, playing a key part in Brentford's 9th-place finish in the 2025-26 Premier League season.
Additionally, Henderson was selected for England's squad at the 2026 World Cup hosted by Canada, Mexico, and the United States, making history as the first English player to appear in seven major tournaments. England ultimately finished in third place.
