Szoboszlai shook his head and spoke frankly after Liverpool's shocking comeback loss to Leeds.
Dominik Szoboszlai, midfielder and captain of "The Reds" Liverpool, admitted his team must improve their handling of set pieces after losing 2-4 to Leeds United in a Premier League Summer Series friendly in the United States.
In the match, Liverpool started excellently, taking a 2-0 lead, but Leeds United astonishingly came back to win 4-2.
Szoboszlai said, “I think we should talk about the past two weeks. We've been getting to know each other... getting to know the manager. We've learned a lot.”
“Now we know we conceded two goals from set pieces. We need to fix this. We have to be more careful.”
“On set pieces, we must do our jobs. We're human; we can make mistakes, but we have to correct them... We need to focus on that now.”
“Last season I played several positions. I prefer playing midfield, but if he (Iraola) wants me to play right back, I will play right back.”
Liverpool's next friendly will be against Monaco on 9 August.
