Following developments, the "Red Devils" Manchester United, a Premier League giant, are set to assign the number 14 shirt to Marcus Rashford after his loan contract with Barcelona ended, signaling confidence that he will be a key player in the upcoming 2026-27 season.
An interesting detail is that Rashford has previously tattooed the shirt numbers he has worn for Manchester United—three numbers in total: number 39 when he first joined the senior team, then number 19, and number 10 respectively. The number 10 was later given to Matheus Cunha when Rashford was loaned out to Aston Villa and Barcelona.
When Rashford lost the number 10 shirt to Cunha, many speculated that his future at Old Trafford was over. However, the club’s trust in him by assigning the number 14 shirt has deeply moved Rashford, who is now considering tattooing the number 14 on his body as well.
