Sources indicate that Arsenal aims to recoup part of the £75 million they recently paid to Newcastle United for Brazilian international midfielder Bruno Guimarães in a single lump sum.
Chelsea has also been approached by Arsenal to consider signing Miles Lewis-Skelly. Although he won the Premier League under manager Mikel Arteta last season, Chelsea's intentions to pursue the player remain unclear.
This situation gives Manchester United an advantage in acquiring Miles Lewis-Skelly, who has previously been linked with the Red Devils.
