Japanese Player Praises Theeraphat Plueathong, Thai National Star, for Strong Performance with Sapporo

Kota Yoshihara, former forward of Consadole Sapporo, praised Theeraphat Plueathong, Thai national player for Consadole Sapporo, as an important player for the team.

On 12 August 2026 GMT+7, after Theeraphat Plueathong, Thai national player for BG Pathum United, moved on loan to Consadole Sapporo during the special J.League season, he performed well, playing 10 matches with 1 goal and 4 assists. He then continued competing with Consadole Sapporo in J.League 2 2026/27.

Recently, Kota Yoshihara, former Consadole Sapporo forward, wrote an analysis praising Theeraphat after leading the club to a 2-0 victory over Tokushima Vortis in the first J.League 2 match, in which “Pao” provided 1 assist.

“Although the goal scorers received praise in this game, I once again felt Theeraphat’s outstanding ability because the origins of both goals came from him. The second goal was an amazing decision: he dribbled the ball up from his own half while a teammate made a run forward. If Pao had continued dribbling, it would have blocked his teammate’s space, but he smartly passed to the left, ultimately leading to an additional goal for the team.”

“I admit he has the vision as if seeing the whole field from above. It’s an innate talent. A 19-year-old who can read the game two to three moves ahead and play with such composure is remarkable. He is now a key player for the team.”
