Questions arise as 3 Manchester United players snub Ruben Amorim after losing to AC Milan.
Following the friendly football match where the "Red Devils" Manchester United, a Premier League giant, were defeated 2-4 by the "Rossoneri" AC Milan, a renowned Serie A club managed by Ruben Amorim, the former Manchester United coach, last Saturday night.
After the game, many Manchester United players approached to congratulate, greet, and embrace Amorim, including Bruno Fernandes, Luke Shaw, Noussair Mazraoui, and Matheus Cunha.
However, Marcus Rashford, Kobbie Mendu, and Diogo Dalot ignored Amorim and instead chose to thank the fans who came to support them at the stadium.
Mendu already had issues with Amorim, as he did not start any Premier League matches last season under Amorim's management.
After Amorim was dismissed in January, Michael Carrick decided to reinstate Mendu as a starter immediately. His excellent performance in the latter half of the season earned him a spot on the England national team for the 2026 World Cup.
Similarly, Marcus Rashford was considered surplus to requirements by Amorim at the time and was loaned out to Aston Villa and Barcelona. Rashford performed excellently and also made it to the 2026 World Cup squad.
In Dalot's case, it was quite surprising because he regularly played under Amorim’s era, yet he did not go to embrace Amorim like many others.
