Mohamed Salah, Liverpool's winger, could no longer hold back and vented his frustration after being left on the bench for three consecutive matches.

On 7 Dec 2025 GMT+7, Mohamed Salah, Egypt's national team winger for "The Reds" Liverpool, unleashed strong words, unable to accept being dropped to the bench for three straight games, the latest being the 3-3 draw against Leeds United. He called it extremely disappointing and believes some people at the club do not want him to remain with the team.

"I can't believe I have had to sit on the bench for 90 minutes in three consecutive games, and I think this is the first time in my career this has happened."

"Honestly, I am very disappointed. I have done so much for this club. Everyone has seen it over the past few years, especially last season."

"I don't know why I have to sit on the bench. It feels like the club is throwing the blame on me — that's how it feels. Clearly, someone wants me to take the blame for everything."

"The club made many promises to me during the summer, but so far, nothing has come of it. I've had to be a substitute for three games, so I can say they haven't kept their word."

"I've said many times before that I had a good relationship with the manager, but suddenly we don't have a relationship at all. I don't know why."

"For me, it seems like someone does not want me at the club, even though I love this club very much."

"This is unacceptable for me. I don't know why these things keep happening to me. I don't understand. I think if it were another club, they would protect their players."

"I don't know why I am in this situation now. It’s like they are throwing me away because they see me as the problem in the team right now, but I don't think I am the problem."

"I have done a lot for this club, and I shouldn't have to fight for my place because I deserve it."

"I'm not greater than anyone else. I just deserve the chance to play. This is football. That's how it is."

When asked if he would consider his future in January, Salah replied, "In football, you never know. But I will not accept this situation."
