Liverpool has revealed its 25-player squad for the 2026-27 UEFA Champions League, missing two star players.
The “Reds,” Liverpool, the Premier League giants, have officially announced their 25-player squad for the 2026-27 UEFA Champions League league phase. Notably, Japanese midfielder Wataru Endo and Italian winger Federico Chiesa are not included.
Endo was listed as a substitute in the first two Premier League matches this season but did not play. Chiesa has been troubled by injuries and missed the first two games. Additionally, Liverpool signed Bradley Barcola and Víctor Muñoz, further limiting Chiesa’s playing chances. Ultimately, both Endo and Chiesa were omitted from the European competition squad this season.
