How long has it been? Revealing the number of days Manchester United has not played in the UEFA Champions League before meeting Sabah FC tonight in the first group stage match.
On 10 Sep 2026 GMT+7, let's see how long it has been. The famous Premier League club Manchester United, under current English coach Michael Carrick, has not played in the UEFA Champions League before facing Sabah FC tonight at 02:00 Thai time in the first group stage match.
The Manchester red giants have been away from the UEFA Champions League battlefield for as long as 1,003 days. Their last match was on 12 Dec 2023 GMT+7, when they hosted Bayern Munich at Old Trafford and lost 0-1.
That game was the final group stage match of the 2023–24 season, where they finished fourth in Group A and were eliminated, failing even to qualify for the Europa League. This meant they have not tasted or participated in the big European trophy since then, until today when they return to action.
