In the 69th minute, Spurs pulled one back to make it 1-2 from a corner kick. Liverpool goalkeeper Mamardashvili came out but missed the ball, allowing Conor Gallagher to head the ball into the net from close range.
In the 90+1 minute, Liverpool sealed the win 3-1. Cody Gakpo chipped the ball to Dominik Szoboszlai, who volleyed powerfully, sending the ball into the top corner with a spectacular finish.
