On 18 September 2026, Yotsakorn Burapha, a Thai national team forward from Chonburi FC, recounted on the Born To Win program on Thairath Sport about his time playing in Singapore for Hougang United last year on a loan deal.
He experienced discrimination that made him question, "Why did I come here?" but ultimately he chose to focus on training hard and doing his best.
Today, Yotsakorn has become a key player for the “Chonburi Sharks,” performing as well as foreign players, and recently flew to help Thailand U23 where he made one assist to lead the team to a 3-2 victory over Kyrgyzstan in the first match of the 2026 Asian Games.
