Barcelona has made a decision regarding signing JJ Gabriel from Manchester United.
"Barcelona" is clear!!! They have rejected signing "JJ Gabriel" after his request to leave "Manchester United."
Deco, the sporting director of "Barça" Barcelona, the La Liga giant, confirmed that the club has no interest in signing JJ Gabriel, the promising forward from "the Red Devils" Manchester United.
The 15-year-old player has become a major news topic after requesting to leave Manchester United, making him a highly sought-after talent attracting interest from many clubs across Europe and the Premier League.
Among those is Barcelona, which was reported to have opened negotiations to sign Gabriel. However, recently Deco was asked about this and he confirmed that Barcelona has taken no action regarding this player.
Deco said, “I have nothing to say about this youngster. It is normal for players to be linked with our club from time to time.”
“We are not interested in players in this kind of situation. I’m not sure what has happened or if he is still a Manchester United player. We are not involved in that matter.”
"First of all, we need to understand the situation before we try to do anything. Talking about young or teenage players is not our concern."
Meanwhile, Steven Gerrard, former Liverpool captain, commented on Gabriel’s situation, saying, "I don’t know if there have been talks or any agreements behind the scenes, but from an outside perspective, it feels like someone is pushing, forcing, and rushing this, and I don’t think it will help the boy at all."
“As I said, I’m a fierce rival of Manchester United, but I’ve been watching them from a distance. They have good coaches and excellent staff. I know Michael Carrick well, and if this boy was truly ready, he would have already gotten playing time.”
