Pep Guardiola Decides After Man City Found Guilty of Financial Rules Violation

Pep Guardiola has made his decision after Manchester City was found guilty of breaching financial regulations.

Pep plans to attend the UEFA Champions League match between Manchester City and PSG to show support in the financial rules violation case.

The Mirror, a prominent UK media outlet, reported that Pep Guardiola, former Manchester City manager, plans to return to the Etihad Stadium to watch the UEFA Champions League match between Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain on 14 October as a gesture of support for the club amid their Premier League financial rules violation case.

Pep Guardiola told Manchester City's top executives that he wants to stand by the players and club he loves during this difficult time. His return will mark his first visit back to the Etihad Stadium since he left the club in May.

Manchester City has officially lodged an appeal, asserting that the ruling contained "clear and significant errors" in law, principles, and facts. Pep has chosen to stand by his former team and will watch the match from the stands.

Pep led Manchester City to six Premier League titles, one UEFA Champions League, three FA Cups, five League Cups, one FIFA Club World Cup, one UEFA Super Cup, and three Community Shields.

Beyond trophy success, Pep set new Premier League standards, notably in the 2017/18 season when Manchester City amassed 100 points, a record high in league history.
