Enrique has admitted after PSG's away win over Man City in the UCL.
"Enrique" admits!!! "PSG" got some luck in their away win over "Man City" // If the opponents had been sharper, we would have lost.
Luis Enrique, the skilled Spanish coach of Paris Saint-Germain, candidly admitted that his team might have lost if the opponents had been more clinical in finishing, following their 4-2 away victory over "the Sky Blues" Manchester City in the 2026/27 UEFA Champions League group stage last night.
In the match, PSG took a 3-0 lead in the first half. Then in the second half, Manchester City raised their level and created several scoring chances, but ultimately PSG held on to secure the win.
Enrique said, "We started the game very well. We made no mistakes and deserved to score three goals. But I don't like ending the first half with that score because you think the game is over when actually it isn’t."
"We could have lost this game if they had converted the chances they created. Manchester City's style of play is excellent. We enjoy playing this kind of game."
"Today, we almost lost because in the second half we could have conceded more goals. We need to improve on this in the future."
