Neville's latest remarks on Manchester United have shaken everyone.
No one fears anymore! "Neville" said that nowadays any team facing "Man United" finds it too easy. Finishing below fifth place is considered disappointing.
Gary Neville, a renowned football analyst and former Manchester United defender, said he is tired of how Man United has become too easy to play against after their recent 1-1 away draw with Leeds United. He added that finishing below fifth place this season would be disappointing.
Neville stated, "I’m tired that Manchester United have become a team that's too easy to play against, and Michael Carrick must be tired of it too."
"But they can’t finish outside the top five because then you miss out on the Champions League, and it becomes a vicious cycle."
"Then you won’t get the players you want because those players all want to play in the Champions League, and you lose 60-70 million pounds in revenue, plus you have to play in the Europa League on Thursdays."
"Top five is essential for Michael Carrick to continue developing the team. It’s still too early to say after getting 7 points from 7 games, but you can’t say that after 15 games."
"Ultimately, anything below fifth place would be disappointing and a drop in standards from the early season when everyone expected them to finish around there."
"And right now, they are far from that target because when you look at Brighton, Liverpool, Aston Villa, they seem to be improving. It’s really tough."
