Lamine Jamal faced a shocking situation after Barcelona lost at home to Real Madrid.
"Jamal" was completely outplayed!!! He was tightly marked and effectively neutralized by "Cucurella" in the game where Barcelona lost at home to Madrid.
Aftermath of the 2026-27 Spanish La Liga key match "El Clásico," where "Barça" Barcelona suffered a 1-2 home defeat to "Los Blancos" Real Madrid last night.
If you recall, back in July, Lamine Jamal, the Spanish national team winger for Barcelona, had joked about Marc Cucurella, the fellow Spanish winger for Real Madrid, saying he would thoroughly handle Cucurella when they faced each other on the field.
“I will thoroughly handle Cucurella in the first El Clásico match against Madrid (laughs),” Jamal said.
But what was seen in last night's duel was quite the opposite—Cucurella was the one who controlled Jamal completely. Jamal barely managed to dribble past him because Cucurella stuck close, leaving Jamal unable to play effectively!!! Here are Jamal's stats for the game.
Goals: 0
Assists: 0
Shots on target: 0
Key passes: 0
