Man Utd Decides Carricks Future After 9-Match Winless Streak Following Chelsea Defeat

Man Utd has decided Michael Carrick's future after losing to Chelsea, extending a 9-match winless streak.

Continuing on! Manchester United has not dismissed Michael Carrick despite the 0-2 away loss to Chelsea, marking their ninth consecutive match without a win and dropping to 17th in the Premier League.

The Athletic, a well-known English media outlet, reported that Manchester United, a Premier League giant, has decided not to remove Michael Carrick from the head coach position despite the team's 0-2 away defeat to Chelsea in the English Premier League last night.

This defeat has caused Manchester United to go nine matches without a win across all competitions and fall to 17th place in the standings, tied on points with teams in the relegation zone. Many believe Carrick is under intense pressure and at risk of being sacked as head coach.

However, the latest report confirms that Manchester United will not dismiss Carrick anytime soon. He will remain in charge for at least two more matches until the November international break, after which the situation will be reassessed. This aligns with an agreement between Carrick and the club following crisis talks last week after heavy defeats to Como and Bournemouth.

United fans who traveled to support the team in the Chelsea loss expressed their dissatisfaction with the club's management and underperforming players but sang and applauded Carrick as he approached them after the final whistle.

Meanwhile, Carrick confirmed he will continue to coach the team for the next two matches, starting with the UEFA Champions League game against Roma, followed by a crucial home match against Aston Villa next weekend.
