Two Thai Players Miss Each Other: Prometh Makes Debut for Jubilo in J2 League but Misses Supachok Leading Sapporo

Two Thai players missed each other as Prometh made his debut for Jubilo in J2 League but missed facing Supachok, who captains Sapporo.

On 14 Mar 2026 GMT+7, the 6th match of the 2026 J2 League season saw a key Thai derby when two clubs featuring Thai internationals met. Jubilo Iwata, home to Prometh Ajwilai, hosted Consadole Sapporo, led by Supachok Sarachat.

In this match, Supachok Sarachat started in the Consadole Sapporo lineup as a left winger, while Prometh Ajwilai began on the bench.

In the second half, Supachok was substituted off in the 57th minute, so he did not face Prometh on the field. Prometh, nicknamed “Je Frong,” made his first appearance for Jubilo Iwata when he came on for Katsunori Ueebisu in the 86th minute.

The match ended with Consadole Sapporo winning 1-0 thanks to a stoppage-time goal by Shota Nishino in the 90+2 minute. This marked Sapporo’s first win of the season, bringing them level with Jubilo Iwata at 5 points each.

Consadole Sapporo remains 8th in the Eastern Zone Group B, while Jubilo Iwata is 7th due to goal difference (Jubilo -3, Sapporo -5).
