An exclusive interview with Anthony Gordon following his official unveiling as the newest player of "Barça" Barcelona.
Anthony Gordon, the new winger for "Barça" Barcelona, stated he has wanted to join Barcelona since he was three years old and has continuously prepared by practicing Spanish to await this important opportunity.
Gordon, 25, transferred from Newcastle to Barcelona for a total fee of 80 million euros, signing a long-term contract for five years until June 2031, with an official jersey presentation held last night.
Gordon spoke about the transfer, saying, “I have wanted to play for Barcelona since I was three years old. I wanted to be able to speak Spanish because as a child I believed I would play football for Barcelona.”
“Believe it or not, I had a physiotherapist at Newcastle and we talked every day. I once told him, ‘One day I will play for Barcelona,’ so I wanted to learn Spanish.”
