Real Madrid celebrates as they near signing a highly sought-after player, having agreed on terms.
Fabrizio Romano, the renowned Italian journalist, reported that Real Madrid, the giant of Spain's La Liga, has agreed on personal terms with Jan Diomandé, the promising winger from Ivory Coast playing for RB Leipzig. There is a strong chance he will join the Santiago Bernabéu this summer.
The deal now depends on negotiations between the two clubs. Real Madrid is preparing to submit a new offer to RB Leipzig soon to finalize the transfer. Their initial offer of 100 million euros was rejected, but the deal is expected to reach 115-120 million euros including bonuses.
If everything proceeds smoothly, 19-year-old Diomandé will sign a five-year contract with Real Madrid, lasting until 2031.
However, Romano has not ruled out the possibility of Paris Saint-Germain signing Diomandé as well, since PSG had previously agreed on personal terms with the player, just like Real Madrid.
Diomandé delivered an outstanding performance last season with RB Leipzig in 2025-26, scoring 13 goals and providing 10 assists across 36 matches in all competitions.
